The INTOCABLES 2oo4 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson Santana in the 12th minute of play. Ibon Duarte came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rolando Noboa could save by the left post. Gerson Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Robert Bresson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes INTOCABLES 2oo4 got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Siqueira. 25 minutes into the match, INTOCABLES 2oo4's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Robert Bresson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, INTOCABLES 2oo4's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Robert Bresson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32nd play minutes Julian Murillo shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Robert Bresson and just under the crossbar into goal. Robert Bresson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind INTOCABLES 2oo4's goalkeeper Robert Bresson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 minutes INTOCABLES 2oo4's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ibon Duarte in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerson Santana to make the kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Peru's Julian Murillo in the 57th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Robert Bresson was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for INTOCABLES 2oo4 through an amazing save. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Igor Batuecas made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. 66 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Bresson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 68 minutes into the match, INTOCABLES 2oo4's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Robert Bresson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Eliseo Mina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Bresson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. A sloppy throw-in by Igor Batuecas in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Anthony Alvarado. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the match, INTOCABLES 2oo4's Manoj Espinosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
