The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fausto Pinti made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Damiano Battisti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Battisti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Eurospeed Asti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Masciarelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damiano Battisti. Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 18th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Moriggi in the 24th minute of play. Damiano Battisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A hard shot 29 in the game by Fausto Pinti from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Grant Irø kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Damiano Battisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eurospeed Asti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper Damiano Battisti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Battisti. Eurospeed Asti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Moriggi in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Battisti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Eurospeed Asti got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Pinti. After 46 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damiano Battisti was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper Damiano Battisti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Damiano Battisti in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Eurospeed Asti's Grant Irø got a free kick in the 57th minute. The supporters of Eurospeed Asti booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elia Pietrantoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Battisti having to interfere. Damiano Battisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Pinti in the 71st minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grant Irø in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damiano Battisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 82nd play minutes Fausto Pinti shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Pinti's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 94th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti managed to reach the ball for a save. The Eurospeed Asti fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
