Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. Eflani SK's Boğaçhan Ozansoy suffered a sore thigh after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 5 minutes into the game, Aaron Alcocer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eflani SK the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. After 6 minutes of play, Eflani SK's Mehmet Oğuz Hececi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saadettin Başesgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saadettin Başesgi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Axel Tasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saadettin Başesgi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Eflani SK's Acácio Kafadar. But to his dismay, Acácio Kafadar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Saadettin Başesgi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 26th minute. In the 33rd minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a Eflani SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig suffered a sore thigh after 48 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Yalçın Dalga's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yalçın Dalga helped the player get up and apologised. Costa Rica's Alfredo Zoido was substituted for Lautaro Puig. Yalçın Dalga kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acácio Kafadar to strike the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Oğuz Hececi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mürsel Özaslan hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saadettin Başesgi having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Eflani SK's Saadettin Başesgi. Saadettin Başesgi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 minutes, Efrain Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Eflani SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eflani SK's goalkeeper Saadettin Başesgi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 83 minutes, Hugo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Eflani SK players grew even worse after the yellow card.
