Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sven Keller started the match with the kick off. Sven Keller's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Keller helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dukaton f.c.'s Sven Keller got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dukaton f.c.'s zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eelco Lanting came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eelco Lanting was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 11 played minutes Dukaton f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Werner. In the 12th minute, Klaas Jan Oevermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eelco Lanting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Cristian Sancho sped through Dukaton f.c.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eelco Lanting. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Eelco Lanting didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 47 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eelco Lanting. Dukaton f.c.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eelco Lanting made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 53rd minute. Eelco Lanting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 57th minute of play. Eelco Lanting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Dukaton f.c.'s Eelco Lanting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Dukaton f.c. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Dukaton f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Werner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustín Saelices who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Eelco Lanting when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Eelco Lanting skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eelco Lanting having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eelco Lanting came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 74th minute. Dukaton f.c.'s Eelco Lanting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Dukaton f.c. from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Eelco Lanting made a huge save. Eelco Lanting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eelco Lanting quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 91st minute of the match, Juan Sebastián Puig tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eelco Lanting saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 97th match minute, Dukaton f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Werner to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eelco Lanting. Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ecuador played a much better game than Dukaton f.c. and deserved their victory. The Dukaton f.c. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
