Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but William Gaúcho made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of William Gaúcho. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Gigel Gârdan made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play forced Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s goalkeeper William Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richárd Lovász in the 29th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Meira in the 32nd minute of play. William Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casa Real de Savóia F.C. were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Paelemans took the corner. The throw-in from Jorge Proença in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s William Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Casa Real de Savóia F.C. from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s William Gaúcho. William Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. William Gaúcho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milagros Fraga went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Casa Real de Savóia F.C. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gigel Gârdan hit a great ball. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th match minute, Casa Real de Savóia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Poli Puyol to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which William Gaúcho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the game, Richárd Lovász recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Richárd Lovász showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. If Almir Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Poli Puyol, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Richárd Lovász kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 5-2 in the 83 minute of play. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Poli Puyol in the 90th minute. Peru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
