Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dimitris Fragou started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Dimitris Fragou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Dimitris Fragou showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Nikos Sarkanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Sebastián Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 10 played minutes meteora 1929 got a freekick which was hit by Nasos Venetidis. Nikos Sarkanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by meteora 1929's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Nikos Sarkanis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. meteora 1929's Nikos Sarkanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chatziantoniou Xanthos in the 19th minute. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nikos Sarkanis having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikos Sarkanis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With an all-out effort, meteora 1929's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dimitris Fragou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nikos Sarkanis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikos Sarkanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Chatziantoniou Xanthos fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored meteora 1929's protests and gave Chatziantoniou Xanthos a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes meteora 1929 got a freekick which was hit by Chatziantoniou Xanthos. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, meteora 1929's Nasos Venetidis got a free kick in the 51st minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ecuador booed when meteora 1929 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aris Kasnaferis hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. With a little luck, meteora 1929's Nikos Sarkanis got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 played minutes meteora 1929 got a freekick which was hit by Simon Karlsson. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Dimitris Fragou hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With his leg Nikos Sarkanis managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because meteora 1929 had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
