Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Allan Silm started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Alex Dijoux tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Allan Silm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Allan Silm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Allan Silm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. When Pape Lillo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Zorros del Desierto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pape Lillo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Benedicto Medero hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Pape Lillo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Allan Silm made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clark Kent. Clark Kent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 46th minute, Pape Lillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 51st minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Clark Kent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Pape Lillo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Zorros del Desierto's Jon-Ander Wallffiguer was substituted for Cai Jian Chang. Zorros del Desierto's Dalmo Ferreira was substituted for Sebastián Roco. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pape Lillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Clark Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Clark Kent was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 79 minute of play. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
