Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Xu Li Sang made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5thth minute of the game Chico de Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Mümtazer Kutlan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico de Sousa in the 16th minute of play. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Jovens Democratas MZC's Chico de Sousa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmo Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Dalmo Saldanha came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mümtazer Kutlan hit a great ball. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Mümtazer Kutlan in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Peru's Efraim Gilabert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mümtazer Kutlan in the 39 minute of the game. Dobromir Zagrodny hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Dalmo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy de Brito to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha. Dalmo Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xu Li Sang's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xu Li Sang helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Peru booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xu Li Sang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the game Mümtazer Kutlan made a throw-in which Chico de Sousa played forward. Durval de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Jozef Ilve replaced David Puyol. Marco van Basten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Jozef Ilve made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 73rd minute, Jozef Ilve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jozef Ilve, made in the 82nd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Saldanha. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Gallo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 86th minute Marco van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonso Berganza made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eliseo Alcocer however managed to control. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco van Basten in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the game, Jozef Ilve threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
