Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Silm in the 18th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes, Zorros del Desierto's Edward Okopny shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zorros del Desierto reached it. 23 minutes into the game, Alex Dijoux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clark Kent stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clark Kent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alex Dijoux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Allan Silm in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alex Dijoux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Zorros del Desierto's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clark Kent came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allan Silm. 40 minutes into the match, Allan Silm notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pape Lillo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Dijoux got free with Julio Vera in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Allan Silm made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 50 minutes, Alex Dijoux put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Silm in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Jon-Ander Wallffiguer replaced Cai Jian Chang. In the 63rd minute Dalmo Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zorros del Desierto's Pape Lillo in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. During this time Zorros del Desierto's players had a chance to rest. 69 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 69th playminute. In the 72nd minute, Pape Lillo made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Pape Lillo made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After 89 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pape Lillo in the 94th minute of the match. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clark Kent. Clark Kent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Zorros del Desierto were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
