In the 5th minute of the match, Stig-Inge Nymoen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Inge Nymoen. He Zheng Xing took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Narciso Eusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Glyka Nera FC's Stig-Inge Nymoen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. He Zheng Xing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Stig-Inge Nymoen in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. He Zheng Xing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Stig-Inge Nymoen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Stig-Inge Nymoen slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute of the game Jiang Xing Jun made a throw-in which Stig-Inge Nymoen played forward. Glyka Nera FC's He Zheng Xing got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when He Zheng Xing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Glyka Nera FC's He Zheng Xing. But to his dismay, He Zheng Xing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Inge Nymoen in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that He Zheng Xing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Inge Nymoen in the 68th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
