In the 5th minute, Bantry Gollogley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelino Mederi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 孔翔沙, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Diguinho Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Ilulea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Hendrix to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Bantry Gollogley could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Edmundo de Toledo however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Aírton Veiga hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ilulea FC's Felipe Hendrix got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes Ilulea FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Bronicki. Angelino Mederi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Jan-Ove Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buritama Sports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ove Gustavsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Félix in the 32nd minute of play forced Ilulea FC's goalkeeper Angelino Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ilulea FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ernesto Gomesano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Gustavsson in the 35th minute of play forced Ilulea FC's goalkeeper Angelino Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Ilulea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Félix came free, but Angelino Mederi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Ove Gustavsson to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Gualterio Oto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ilulea FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Aírton Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ilulea FC booed when Buritama Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes, Ilulea FC's Gualterio Oto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ilulea FC reached it. Angelino Mederi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Bantry Gollogley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmundo de Toledo. Buritama Sports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bantry Gollogley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Diguinho Velloso hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Ilulea FC's Angelino Mederi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孔翔沙 in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Diguinho Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buritama Sports and the Ilulea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ilulea FC's Raul Estevez was substituted for Andy Turner. In the 70th minute, Diguinho Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Oto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Edmundo de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buritama Sports's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
