The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Yaman Academy® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Ixaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yaman Academy®'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Jan-Ove Gustavsson scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Navarro, making the score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batuğ Resai in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo de Toledo saved Buritama Sports from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Paulino Maldini got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edmundo de Toledo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 15th minute, Celsinho Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Paulino Maldini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaman Academy®'s supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Maldini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Félix got free with Jonathan Navarro in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Batuğ Resai scored 1-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmundo de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 25 minutes, Batuğ Resai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaman Academy®'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Batuğ Resai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batuğ Resai in the 27th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Yaman Academy®'s Artemio Ixaka got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jonathan Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diguinho Velloso in the 42nd minute of play. Edmundo de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batuğ Resai's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When Yaman Academy®'s Batuğ Resai in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buritama Sports's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Yaman Academy® were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Batuğ Resai was the one to do the kick off. Yaman Academy®'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Batuğ Resai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batuğ Resai. Yaman Academy®'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulino Maldini in the 89th minute. When Yaman Academy®'s Batuğ Resai in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buritama Sports's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Yaman Academy® had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
