An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Gentiletti in the 6th minute of play forced Kordoso Karkanis's goalkeeper Gökhun Askeroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Azim Erbaş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kordoso Karkanis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Žalia Giria the free kick. After 7 played minutes Kordoso Karkanis got a freekick which was hit by Azim Erbaş. Saúl Gentiletti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gökhun Askeroğlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Saúl Gentiletti slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Saúl Gentiletti took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gökhun Askeroğlu. Gökhun Askeroğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Gökhun Askeroğlu was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Saúl Gentiletti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saúl Gentiletti really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. FC Žalia Giria's Jack Grealish was substituted for Vytautas Petkus. A collision led to FC Žalia Giria getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dovydas Varnas hit a great ball. When Uğuralp Orhun fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kordoso Karkanis's protests and gave Uğuralp Orhun a yellow card for diving instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hakkı Nurullah to strike the kick off in the second half. Ramūnas Lipskis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Jack Grealish left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Žalia Giria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Saúl Gentiletti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökhun Askeroğlu having to interfere. Gökhun Askeroğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Grealish's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kordoso Karkanis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Avram Lupoaia was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Žalia Giria's players had a chance to rest. After 73 minutes, Jack Grealish made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kordoso Karkanis's Gökhun Askeroğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Kordoso Karkanis's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Grealish came free, but Gökhun Askeroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustinas Baltramaitis took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gökhun Askeroğlu. Gökhun Askeroğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. In the 85th minute FC Žalia Giria were awarded a corner. Avram Lupoaia went to the cornerflag to take it. Hikmet Lebib was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Augustinas Baltramaitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökhun Askeroğlu having to interfere. FC Žalia Giria's Vilmantas Matulas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uğuralp Orhun in the 95th minute of play. FC Žalia Giria's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
