Amílton Pereira was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Israel Vergaray was a little too slow when Adilson Reis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 20 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Quinito. Israel Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Amílton Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes, Amílton Pereira made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nahitantino's Israel Vergaray tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Oiteiras's Adilson Reis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Israel Vergaray. That made the score 5-0 after 45 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adilson Reis was the one to do the kick off. Nahitantino's Israel Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Reis in the 51st minute of play. In the 51st minute, Adilson Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Israel Vergaray was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0.
