Aurelian Zogreanu started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Oolo in the 5th minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Stanimir Dragnev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Stanimir Dragnev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ninjas in Pyjamas from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Het Koffiehuis's Golo Oolo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stanimir Dragnev. Stanimir Dragnev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Gabriele Koffidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanimir Dragnev was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Golo Oolo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Golo Oolo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Het Koffiehuis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Becker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Florin Griguță was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jiang Kun Liang in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriele Koffidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Het Koffiehuis's Tao Rong made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanimir Dragnev was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Oolo in the 59th minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Stanimir Dragnev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Golo Oolo took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stanimir Dragnev. Stanimir Dragnev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Stanimir Dragnev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Golo Oolo went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Ninjas in Pyjamas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Het Koffiehuis:s goal. Golo Oolo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 79th minute Gabriele Koffidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanimir Dragnev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ninjas in Pyjamas's zone, Golo Oolo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanimir Dragnev came out of the goal and Golo Oolo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tao Rong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanimir Dragnev having to interfere. Stanimir Dragnev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Oolo in the 91st minute of play. Codrin Zdrobău was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ninjas in Pyjamas! The referee gave Het Koffiehuis a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Golo Oolo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ninjas in Pyjamas's Stanimir Dragnev. 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Het Koffiehuis had played much better football throughout.
