Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Linus Fredriksson started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Dionisio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Marlin FC from getting a goal against them. Juan Carlos Alvarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Fredriksson in the 10th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Linus Fredriksson went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Dionisio Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute Linus Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Mariano Lacasa in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan Carlos Alvarez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Guillermo Fontirroig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Juan Carlos Alvarez made a huge save. Dionisio Panpili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Rana to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carlos Alvarez having to interfere. In the 60th minute Linus Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Mariano Lacasa sped through Marlin FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Carlos Alvarez. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linus Fredriksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marlin FC's goalie prevented a goal. With an all-out effort, Marlin FC's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dionisio Panpili, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chile had won after a very even match.
