In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Przemyslaw Prusek took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Iwo Budrewicz made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ibrahim Nezirović.
