The referee ordered 韩风珂 off the ground. After 7 played minutes 特洛伊木马人 got a freekick which was hit by 韩风珂. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, 袁适昆 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and 袁适昆 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, 特洛伊木马人's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Escribano came free, but 刘威昆 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 刘威昆 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Primitivo Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 刘威昆 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 26th minute of play. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when 陆峰彬 scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 1-0. 刘威昆 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by 袁适昆 in the 36th minute. Paraguay's Ivan Prats quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 苏笑坤, made in the 38th minute of the game. 特洛伊木马人's 刘威昆 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, 尹博响 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, 特洛伊木马人's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but 刘威昆 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 陆峰彬 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alan Campos struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. 刘威昆 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. After having played for 60 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 陆峰彬 kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the game, 陆峰彬 landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Xavier Zoido's late challenge caught a 特洛伊木马人's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Zoido helped the player get up and apologised. 特洛伊木马人's 胡威斌 was substituted for 陆峰彬. Xavier Zoido hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, 袁适昆 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. 刘威昆 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If 胡威斌 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Jaime Pardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 刘威昆. The goal made the score 1-1. 胡威斌 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Paraguay players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
