Ghiţă Popescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Abram Secada kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wambasther Casillas. That made the score 4-2 in the 89 minute of play. Abram Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wambasther Casillas having to make a save. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Wambasther Casillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Shark FC - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Shark FC - FSCMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
