Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Fontirroig got free with Phil Darling in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Marc MacDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match Mario Fernandino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Phil Darling showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Darling having to interfere. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devin Tisserand, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kill-Animals fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Kill-Animals's Phil Darling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Kill-Animals from getting a goal against them. Devin Tisserand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Kill-Animals's goalkeeper Phil Darling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Fontirroig. In the 46th minute Devin Tisserand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. Bolivia's attentive Francisco Gallo managed to snatch the ball when Von Robbins made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Louis Leach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Phil Darling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Bolivia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kill-Animals:s goal. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Julio Chicote got a free kick in the 75th minute. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Salter in the 80th minute of play. Marty Salter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Kill-Animals's Wilfredo Huppé shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Camilo Freixa but with some difficulty. Kill-Animals's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilfredo Huppé in the 96th minute. The corner led Kill-Animals's Eusebio Cummings to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Freixa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Kill-Animals supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kill-Animals would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
