Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 15th minute. In the 21st minute, RullaBoll's Marc Fastesson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of RullaBoll booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Fastesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Dennis Zlatanović made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Egon Lövkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Fastesson in the 46th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Fastesson to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the RullaBoll defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matildo Fillol. The RullaBoll fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matildo Fillol should have stopped the shot. Alberto Tafalla scored 2-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matildo Fillol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, RullaBoll's goalkeeper Matildo Fillol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. 76 minutes into the game, RullaBoll's Dennis Zlatanović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Jens-Ola Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matildo Fillol having to make a save. Egon Lövkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Fastesson came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
