The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th play minute 楚政潮 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacobo Nores. 1-0. After 11 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. 楚政潮's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jacobo Nores firmly grabbed it by the left post. 王奕朗 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to 不死鸟一辉 getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. 邓坤骋 hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves 楚政潮 could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Jacobo Nores however easily saved by the left post. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when 楚政潮 sent off a good shot on target. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 狄光俊 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 楚政潮's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Jacobo Nores skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. 狄光俊 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. 王奕朗 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 王奕朗 made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano. The supporters of 不死鸟一辉 booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Pardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo.
