Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Otávio Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Vides came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otávio Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Otávio Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Jaru-Uaru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Dante saved Jaru-Uaru from getting behind. Otávio Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otávio Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Luís Fernando Vides made the kick off in the second half. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Vides in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mo Ning De took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Jaru-Uaru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Jaru-Uaru made a substitution. Koppány Selymes replaced Nicasio Abreu. A collision led to Jaru-Uaru getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Nicasio Abreu hit a great ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otávio Dante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Otávio Dante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Daniel Zorita sped through Jaru-Uaru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Otávio Dante. The Jaru-Uaru fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
