Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximilian Seger in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute of the match Mansfield Town FC got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maximilian Seger ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mansfield Town FC's corner Maximilian Seger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Orlando Casaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Gallberg having to interfere. In the 95th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Gallberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mansfield Town FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chile.
