With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when 张星宇 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when 马威震 came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 冯悦振 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 冯悦振 having to interfere. 张星宇 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. In the 29th match minute, 杜马盖地看鲸鲨 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 白伟崇 to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Honduras's Moises Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 冯悦振 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of 杜马盖地看鲸鲨 booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 冯悦振 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 62nd minute. When 白伟崇 fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 杜马盖地看鲸鲨's protests and gave 白伟崇 a yellow card for diving instead. Honduras's Alexander Costa was substituted for Luca Espinar. A collision led to 杜马盖地看鲸鲨 getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. 白伟崇 hit a great ball. In the 80th minute 张星宇 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 冯悦振 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Villa in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 冯悦振, 2-1. The 杜马盖地看鲸鲨 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
