Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Boguslaw Piglowski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The TeReFerere fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when TeReFerere's Boguslaw Piglowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the game, TeReFerere's Pankracy Podowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ignacy Pieprz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Franciszek Marud made a huge save. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacy Pieprz in the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pankracy Podowski in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Piglowski came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Filip Pisarcik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Axel Tasis took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Franciszek Marud to make any attempt to save it. Alexander Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Pankracy Podowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Franciszek Marud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 57th minute. TeReFerere's Pankracy Podowski got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Andrzej Kloczko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TeReFerere and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Franciszek Marud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 73rd minute, Pankracy Podowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Piglowski in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Pisarcik during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pankracy Podowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pankracy Podowski's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The supporters of TeReFerere booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Boguslaw Piglowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Boguslaw Piglowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TeReFerere played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
