With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when KARAORMAN's Dalibor Stefanovski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to KARAORMAN getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Mark Twainborg hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iona Lightfoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Benzema in the 20th minute. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hipolito Misael was slow to take the kick. During this time KARAORMAN's players had a chance to rest. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Silban came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, KARAORMAN's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Iona Lightfoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karim Benzema stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, KARAORMAN's goalkeeper Iona Lightfoot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. 56 minutes into the game, Manuel Silban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute, Mark Twainborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Iona Lightfoot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iona Lightfoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Silban came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebos short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Iona Lightfoot to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iona Lightfoot was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Luca Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luca Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Iona Lightfoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iona Lightfoot quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81st match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Benzema in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iona Lightfoot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KARAORMAN.
