Karim Benzema had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Benzema in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Benzema in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Hipolito Misael got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-0. If Manuel Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Benzema, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karim Benzema. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Karim Benzema made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Karim Benzema notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iona Lightfoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KARAORMAN's Iona Lightfoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 61st minute of play. A hard shot 61 in the game by Agustín Saelices from a close distance when the talented Iona Lightfoot managed to make a qualified save. KARAORMAN's players were relieved. Iona Lightfoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Iona Lightfoot in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 67th match minute, KARAORMAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Twainborg to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iona Lightfoot having to make a save. Iona Lightfoot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, KARAORMAN's Iona Lightfoot got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Benzema in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 79th minute of play forced KARAORMAN's goalkeeper Iona Lightfoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, KARAORMAN's goalkeeper Iona Lightfoot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iona Lightfoot having to interfere. Iona Lightfoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Iona Lightfoot came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but KARAORMAN were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
