Stanislaw Koczara started the match with the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cezary Kaczeniak came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Edwardów's Stanislaw Koczara got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kilian Mbappè's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kilian Mbappè helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mexico booed when Edwardów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kilian Mbappè didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, one of Edwardów:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edwardów. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Yin Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Friberger in the 23rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cezary Kaczeniak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Edwardów defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cezary Kaczeniak. The Edwardów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cezary Kaczeniak should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Yin Yang in the 37th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Yin Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

56 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piotr Malinowski. After 57 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zhou Rong Hui who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Edwardów's corner Zhou Rong Hui fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when Edwardów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Friberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match, Nils Friberger got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 64th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Kaczeniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cezary Kaczeniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match, Gao Yin Yang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezary Kaczeniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Lukasz Makomaski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edwardów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukasz Makomaski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cezary Kaczeniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 86th minute of play. Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 89th minute of play. Cezary Kaczeniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils Friberger in the 93rd minute. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cezary Kaczeniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Edwardów players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mexico.
