KARAORMAN were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hipolito Misael took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Ulf Prengel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Iona Lightfoot made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Iona Lightfoot in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd match minute, KARAORMAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalibor Stefanovski to maneuver through the defense. KARAORMAN's Iona Lightfoot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save KARAORMAN from getting a goal against them.

When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
