Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) CACYFA's Adrian Czornomaz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Adrian Czornomaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrian Czornomaz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The CACYFA fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when CACYFA's Ahmet Kadri Adılhan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after CACYFA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Macos Graciani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luis Quirce quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 20th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Quirce was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Kadri Adılhan in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, CACYFA's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Luis Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Quirce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Safet Jovanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Czornomaz scored 3-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adolfo Jorrin kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Safet Jovanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Quirce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 56th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Jorrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when CACYFA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Cuarto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Luis Quirce in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. CACYFA made a substitution. Alfredo Emeterio replaced Ahmet Kadri Adılhan. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. CACYFA's Luis Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 81st minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Dunixi in the 86th minute of play. Alfredo Emeterio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Xu Feng Wei came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the CACYFA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xu Feng Wei couldn't finish the play. Benigno Amor hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Emeterio during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but CACYFA were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
