Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 6th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovani Lo Celso hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Dibag Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 13th minute of play. Orlando Casaus scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dibag Martinez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Chile booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovani Lo Celso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dibag Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Enzo Fernández got a free kick in the 41st minute. Dibag Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 45th minute of play. Orlando Casaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Chile got a corner. La Scaloneta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Chile's Francisco Carballar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Leandro Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Paredes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Dibag Martinez. La Scaloneta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. La Scaloneta's Alexis Mac Allister was substituted for Lion Messi. 70 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Mac Allister came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Dibag Martinez in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Dibag Martinez made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Gerardo Pozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dibag Martinez was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dibag Martinez saved La Scaloneta from getting behind. Dibag Martinez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Dibag Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Leandro Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The La Scaloneta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chile were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
