After 2 played minutes Ema City got a freekick which was hit by Andre Buncol. 4 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartosz Trzenzalski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and José Carneiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Carneiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bartosz Trzenzalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ema City getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Andre Buncol hit a great ball. When José Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ema City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Carneiro to make the kick off. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Milagros Fraga hit a great ball. Bartosz Trzenzalski came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 65th minute of play forced Ema City's goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ema City's José Carneiro in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Bartosz Trzenzalski came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ema City made a substitution. Witold Rybak replaced Renaut Vuerinckx. Bartosz Trzenzalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ema City's goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the last second Bartosz Trzenzalski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rafael Gallo in the 91stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 92nd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Ema City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. 95 minutes into the match, Ema City's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Bartosz Trzenzalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ema City.
