MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Gordon Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Vergaray in the 15th minute of play. Laureano Vergaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gordon Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Adrogue FC's zone, Maximino Arnau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Armani came out of the goal and Maximino Arnau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco Armani made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Narciso Jenaro sent off a good shot on target. Laureano Vergaray might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gordon Zamora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Vergaray ran back to his position shaking his head. When MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Delmiro Fernandez in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ismael Abalos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aquiles Romildo's late challenge caught a Adrogue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquiles Romildo helped the player get up and apologised. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Arnau was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Maximino Arnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Vergaray blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gordon Zamora having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Vergaray in the 54th minute of play forced MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's goalkeeper Gordon Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
