After a rather tough play, La Acade's Leonard Lamczyk got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Frasco got free with Blas Aritza in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Acade's goalkeeper Blas Aritza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonard Lamczyk charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Lamczyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Leonard Lamczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Acade's Alejandro Vistruario managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Daniel Loi in the 19 minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, La Acade's goalkeeper Blas Aritza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Frasco. In the 24th minute Kip William shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teófilo Amaro made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kip William. Pedro Augusto Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Kip William might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Colon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kip William ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kip William in the 39th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 54th minute, one of Juniors FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Juniors FC. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, La Acade's Teófilo Amaro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lázaro Colon. 62 minutes into the match, Enrique Frasco notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of La Acade's Blas Aritza. Blas Aritza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Enrique Frasco came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Juniors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Frasco couldn't finish the play. Juniors FC's Jerzy Piszczor was substituted for Daniel Loi. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Kip William put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lázaro Colon. La Acade made a substitution. Felipe Saturnin replaced Kip William. Blas Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Sand in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Saturnin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lázaro Colon. That made the score 1-3 in the 96 minute of play. The Juniors FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Acade's performance. The match ended with a win for La Acade.
