Papillon AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Crispin Grassow ran over to the corner to take the kick. Osvaldo Leobardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute Wei De Ling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Van Damme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo got control of the ball when Sergio Jerano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean Van Damme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei De Ling in the 16th minute of the match. Leonides Modestios short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Osvaldo Leobardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Osvaldo Leobardo made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Leonides Modestio sent off a good shot on target. Jean Van Damme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wei De Ling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on AC Rangers's corner Crispin Grassow fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jean Van Damme quite easily take care of the ball. If Vicente Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Rangers's goalkeeper Osvaldo Leobardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save AC Rangers from getting a goal against them. After 38 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Nardo. 40 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Jerano came free, but Osvaldo Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean Van Damme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Neto's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Jean Van Damme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Sal in the 45th minute of the match. Medero Medina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Leobardo made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Emiliano Nardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Osvaldo Leobardo. AC Rangers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Osvaldo Leobardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Jerano in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Medero Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Modestio in the 58th minute of play. Osvaldo Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zosimo Vadillo in the 63rd minute of play. When Zosimo Vadillo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Papillon AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zosimo Vadillo couldn't finish the play. Osvaldo Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zosimo Vadillo in the 76th minute of play. Papillon AC made a substitution. Astor Chinto replaced Timoteo Herrera. Papillon AC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustavo Birila in the 78th minute. After taking down the ball on Papillon AC's corner Gustavo Birila fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Osvaldo Leobardo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Sergio Jerano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papillon AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 86 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Zosimo Vadillo came free, but Osvaldo Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes AC Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Penkalski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 89th minute of play forced AC Rangers's goalkeeper Osvaldo Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sergio Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Lopatnicu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Papillon AC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
