In the 4th minute, Vasile Tufescu made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Xacintu. Cervezanegra A.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th minute, Claudio Cerritos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Rosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marciano Xacintu having to make a save. In the 14th minute of the match, Darryl Buckner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marciano Xacintu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Darryl Buckner might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marciano Xacintu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darryl Buckner ran back to his position shaking his head. Marciano Xacintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. David Atauri kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Darryl Buckner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cervezanegra A.C.'s Marciano Xacintu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Luken came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darryl Buckner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marciano Xacintu having to make a save. Marciano Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Buckner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cervezanegra A.C.'s Marciano Xacintu got control of the ball when Santo Libertad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marciano Xacintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Santo Libertad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dep Colonia Avellaneda were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Cervezanegra A.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudio Cerritos took the corner. The corner led Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Leopoldo Rosa to a score. 2-0 in the 34th minute. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Emilio Haritzeder with David Atauri as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 minutes, Remigio Gora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cervezanegra A.C. and the Dep Colonia Avellaneda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Cervezanegra A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Gora to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Xacintu came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner. But to his dismay, Darryl Buckner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Emilio Haritzeder made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Octavio Luken however managed to control. Marciano Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Buckner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Atauri charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Atauri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Cervezanegra A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Atauri to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Claudio Cerritos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marciano Xacintu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dep Colonia Avellaneda reached it. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cervezanegra A.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Claudio Cerritos was slow to take the kick. During this time Dep Colonia Avellaneda's players had a chance to rest. Leopoldo Rosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marciano Xacintu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leopoldo Rosa ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Cervezanegra A.C. defense, Leopoldo Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Xacintu. The Cervezanegra A.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Xacintu should have stopped the shot. Leopoldo Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes Cervezanegra A.C. got a freekick which was hit by David Atauri. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Darryl Buckner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's supporters rose to their feet, but Darryl Buckner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Xacintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th match minute, Cervezanegra A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Gora to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darryl Buckner in the 84th minute of play forced Cervezanegra A.C.'s goalkeeper Marciano Xacintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darryl Buckner struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Marciano Xacintu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dep Colonia Avellaneda. 90 minutes into the match, Cervezanegra A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Buckner came free, but Marciano Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
