Lázaro Colon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Perico went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lobos de Carelia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Nestor Cortez, was totally fooled by Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Frasco in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lia in the 28th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Frasco's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Enrique Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juniors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Frasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Frasco. Vecdi Tamkut kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lia in the 41st minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Juniors FC's zone, Cristobal Lia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Colon came out of the goal and Cristobal Lia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Frasco was the one to do the kick off. Enrique Frasco kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Juniors FC's Tomás Salomon got a free kick in the 56th minute. Prospero Perico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Lázaro Colon made a huge save. Juniors FC's Pepe Sand was substituted for Enrique Frasco. A sloppy throw-in by Vecdi Tamkut in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Juniors FC's Eduardo Gervaso. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pepe Sand in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pepe Sand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Sand in the 75th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pepe Sand came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Juniors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pepe Sand couldn't finish the play. Lázaro Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Lia in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Lobos de Carelia getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Cristobal Lia hit a great ball. Jerzy Piszczor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pepe Sand went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
