Ovidio Benavides hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Tono during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Baraja Española FC's Faustino Tono got a free kick in the 5th minute. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Artaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Leobardo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Eustaquio Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Tono in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Rangers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Laspada was slow to take the kick. During this time Baraja Española FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Baraja Española FC's corner Ovidio Benavides fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Osvaldo Leobardo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 18th match minute, Baraja Española FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wei De Ling got free with Eustaquio Javiar in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Lopez in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Natalio Raymon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baraja Española FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Raymon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute Baltasar Artaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AC Rangers's zone, Faustino Tono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Leobardo came out of the goal and Faustino Tono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Leobardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Artaldo in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Baraja Española FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Garcia. In the 48th minute, Natalio Raymon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Baraja Española FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Neto made a kick off. Eustaquio Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Sal, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Osvaldo Leobardo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 58 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goalkeeper Osvaldo Leobardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Raymon. AC Rangers's Wei De Ling got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustaquio Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Sal in the 63rd minute of play. AC Rangers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauro Laspada ran over to the corner to take the kick. Baraja Española FC's Mauro Laspada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Osvaldo Leobardo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gonzalo Castello hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Vicente Sal's late challenge caught a Baraja Española FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Sal helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes AC Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Sal. In the 74th minute Jeremias Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Leobardo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Faustino Tono sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's Amancio Inocente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustaquio Javiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
