AC Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Crispin Grassow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ask Stamnes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goalkeeper Osvaldo Leobardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Tano. 89 minutes into the match, Marcelo Martins notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo. Osvaldo Leobardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The AC Rangers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Boulogne F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Boulogne F.C..
