When Baraja Española FC's Baltasar Artaldo in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 9 minutes of play, Baraja Española FC's Mauricio Galtero made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marciano Xacintu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeremias Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Marciano Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Baltasar Artaldo lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Marciano Xacintu. Cervezanegra A.C.'s Marciano Xacintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Artaldo in the 18th minute of play. Marciano Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Galtero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Faustino Tono dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marciano Xacintu, 5-0. In the 27th minute of the match, Baltasar Artaldo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marciano Xacintu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Cervezanegra A.C. defense, Mauricio Galtero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Xacintu. The Cervezanegra A.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Xacintu should have stopped the shot. Baltasar Artaldos short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Marciano Xacintu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Cervezanegra A.C.'s zone, Jeremias Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Xacintu came out of the goal and Jeremias Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Jeremias Lopez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marciano Xacintu was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Marciano Xacintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Artaldo in the 44th minute of play. Marciano Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Artaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Marciano Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Artaldo in the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Cervezanegra A.C. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gavino Rico hit a great ball. Rene Txaran's late challenge caught a Baraja Española FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 81st minute Jeremias Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Artaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marciano Xacintu was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Artaldo in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Xacintu saved Cervezanegra A.C. from getting behind.
