Victoriano Bernaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Ado's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when Dep Colonia Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wei Li didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Darryl Buckner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmond Verdun. Errecaborda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darryl Buckner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 23 minutes, Isidro Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Errecaborda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Santo Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Libertad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Verdun having to interfere. Pastor Ado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Bernaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Bernaldo. That made the score 2-6 after 87 minutes of play. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Rogelio Jakes replaced Aírton Urbano. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Dep Colonia Avellaneda from getting a goal against them. After 94 minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pastor Ado who took care of the corner kick. Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Clemente Silviano got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Errecaborda AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
