Gustavo Birila was slow to take the kick. During this time Papillon AC's players had a chance to rest. Sergio Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atahan Balon having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Birila in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atahan Balon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Luka Ljubenković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Van Damme was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Sergio Jerano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Atahan Balon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jérémie Boix in the 20th minute of play. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Los Muchachos del 86 from getting a goal against them. Jérémie Boix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atahan Balon made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Zosimo Vadillo sent off a good shot on target. Jean Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Soon in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Los Muchachos del 86 got a corner. Papillon AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beto Márcico ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Albino Peruanton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jean Van Damme quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Atahan Balon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Birila in the 32nd minute of play. With his leg Atahan Balon managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 37th minute Jérémie Boix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Van Damme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Zosimo Vadillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Jerano. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Birila was the one to do the kick off. Atahan Balon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Jerano in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goalkeeper Jean Van Damme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jérémie Boix. Papillon AC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustavo Birila in the 56th minute. In the 59th match minute, Los Muchachos del 86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luka Ljubenković to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, Zosimo Vadillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Atahan Balon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Ljubenković came free, but Jean Van Damme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Asiz Soon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean Van Damme was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Atahan Balon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Jerano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Papillon AC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Zosimo Vadillo hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Luka Ljubenković dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jean Van Damme, 3-2. Papillon AC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
