An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Birila in the 27th minute of play forced La Acade's goalkeeper Blas Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kip William fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Van Damme having to interfere. Blas Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zosimo Vadillo in the 30th minute of the match. Medero Medina struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Blas Aritza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papillon AC. After a rather tough play, La Acade's Teófilo Amaro got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Gustavo Birila, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kip William sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The audience was convinced that Zosimo Vadillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Aritza was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Timoteo Herrera with Benedicto Pacho as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
