Uriel Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Uriel Isias came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Juniors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Isias couldn't finish the play. Jean Van Damme made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Uriel Isias sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute of the match Juniors FC got a corner. Papillon AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicanor Porfirio ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 14th minute, Juniors FC's Nicanor Porfirio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean Van Damme. Jean Van Damme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Uriel Isias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jean Van Damme came out and tried to block the shot, but Uriel Isias slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. Astor Chinto hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Nicanor Porfirio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jean Van Damme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Isias in the 23rd minute. Jean Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Isias in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Uriel Isias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean Van Damme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Uriel Isias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jean Van Damme. Uriel Isias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 32 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Uriel Isias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean Van Damme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Juniors FC's Uriel Isias in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Papillon AC's goalie prevented a goal. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Birila in the 39th minute of play. In the 45th minute Sergio Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Jerano in the 45th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Osoitz to maneuver through the defense. Juniors FC's Jerzy Piszczor was substituted for Daniel Loi.

The wind increased when Gustavo Birila made the kick off in the second half. When Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Papillon AC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute, Enrique Frasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean Van Damme was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Papillon AC's goalkeeper Jean Van Damme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Papillon AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicanor Porfirio was slow to take the kick. During this time Juniors FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Papillon AC's goalie and right to Paulino Osoitz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Papillon AC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 67 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Birila. Juniors FC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Papillon AC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicanor Porfirio took the corner. After taking down the ball on Juniors FC's corner Jerzy Piszczor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jean Van Damme quite easily take care of the ball. When Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Papillon AC's goalie prevented a goal. Jean Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Juniors FC defense, Gustavo Birila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Colon. The Juniors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Colon should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Enrique Frasco notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme. Jean Van Damme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute Louis Rotning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Enrique Frasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean Van Damme. Papillon AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Frasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Jean Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Enrique Frasco took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean Van Damme. Jean Van Damme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. After 93 minutes of play, Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lázaro Colon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 97 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Frasco came free, but Jean Van Damme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juniors FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Papillon AC for a fine match.
