AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save AC Rangers from getting a goal against them. When AC Rangers's Wei De Ling in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on Juniors FC's corner Wlodzimierz Lepper fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Osvaldo Leobardo quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei De Ling in the 13th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Isias scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Leobardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Eduard Isac hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Uriel Isias took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Osvaldo Leobardo to make any attempt to save it. Osvaldo Leobardo was a little too slow when Uriel Isias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Beturian in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Colon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Osvaldo Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Frasco in the 81st minute of play. Osvaldo Leobardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wei De Ling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juniors FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
