After 77 minutes of play JKs Talanger's Villiam Lägdin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, JKs Talanger's Villiam Lägdin got a free kick in the 78th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Malcolm Kruuse but with some difficulty. Malcolm Kruuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Mexico's Luca Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Malcolm Kruuse. Malcolm Kruuse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
