Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rdth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Axell Verduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 6th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Vanooteghem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mats Vanooteghem showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Axell Verduin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Giurgiu came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Barnaba Pilsudski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 2-0. After 36 played minutes FC Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Barnaba Pilsudski. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Axell Verduin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axell Verduin having to interfere. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Pilsudski in the 61st minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waut Du Molin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barnaba Pilsudski in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Giurgiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Facundo Cadaval blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Axell Verduin having to make a save. In the 95th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lorenzo Cazalla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mexico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lorenzo Cazalla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dante Lacasa had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Ion Giurgiu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Gullegem were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
