Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Federico Hanni started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbigniew Barowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 5th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Barowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbigniew Barowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Manantiales Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zbigniew Barowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbigniew Barowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 14th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Hanni in the 22nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbigniew Barowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Federico Hanni made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Hanni in the 37th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Zbigniew Barowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manantiales Fc's Zbigniew Barowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Manantiales Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zbigniew Barowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Manantiales Fc defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbigniew Barowicz. The Manantiales Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbigniew Barowicz should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Hanni in the 50th minute of play. Federico Hanni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Hanni came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Hanni went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Manantiales Fc's Zbigniew Barowicz got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Manantiales Fc's Isidro Cresencio to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Hanni in the 77th minute of play. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Hanni went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Federico Hanni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Federico Hanni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zbigniew Barowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbigniew Barowicz having to interfere. Miguel Quintas kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Hanni in the 94th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
