Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gustavo Hartz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A.A. Cachila's Gustavo Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 14th minute of play. Gustavo Hartz came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Eliseo Mina. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 17th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Fraga to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's Terri Moco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Rolando Noboa managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when A.A. Cachila's Terri Moco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustavo Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.A. Cachila's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. In the 31st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Fraga to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Terri Moco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Terri Moco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Terri Moco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-2 in the 44 minute of play.

A.A. Cachila's Seymour Skinner was substituted for Roberto Lapurdi. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Seymour Skinner made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cesar Cordarrel. Terri Moco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 54th minute Terri Moco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Peru booed when A.A. Cachila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Seymour Skinner, made in the 62nd minute of the game. When Emmanuel Reyes fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peru's protests and gave Emmanuel Reyes a yellow card for diving instead. A.A. Cachila's Rodrigo Astudillo was substituted for Jeff Albertson. After a rather tough play, Peru's Emmanuel Reyes got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jonas Orlo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Luz Tejedor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Hartz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Terri Moco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Terri Moco came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.A. Cachila's Terri Moco got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 94 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Gustavo Hartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Gallo scored 1-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Hartz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
